Before you drive on UK public roads you need to be in possession of your Provisional Driving Licence.
You will also require to read a car number plate at a distance of 20.5 metres (67 feet) with corrective eyewear if you would normally use this. Note, if you wear your corrective eyewear for reading the number plate, you will require to wear these for the duration of your lesson or test. We will not be able to continue with a lesson if you do not meet this eyesight check.
