Passed your test and want some additional, advanced lessons prior to taking to the road independently. This is the course for you!
The course is aimed at newly qualified drivers but all drivers who hold a full valid Driving Licence can participate in this. It course was designed by the Driving Standards Agency together with input from driving instructors and insurers. It is aimed to build on your existing skills and knowledge and may even offer a reduction in your car insurance quotes.
This is an in-car course, taking approximately 6 hours to complete.
The course has 6 modules covering :
Driving in town
Driving on rural roads.
Driving at night.
Driving on dual carriageways.
Driving on motorways.
Driving in all weathers (where possible. Alternatively theory will be discussed surrounding this).
You will not take a test but you will be assessed throughout the course. To gain a “Pass” in this course you will require to reached the required standard for all modules.
The cost for this course, including certification on completion is £220.
