- Lessons will be discussed prior to confirming your lesson booking. We advise all clients to speak with us by email or telephone communication before making an online payment.
- All lessons must be paid for in full 24hrs prior to the lesson commencing.
- At least 24 hours notice is required from the pupil to cancel a pre-booked driving lesson. Cancellations with less than 24hrs notice will be charged at the full rate unless the lesson space can be filled. Should the space be filled, you will be advised of this and your payment will subsequently be carried forward to your next lesson.
- We reserve the right to amend driving lessons if we are unable to keep the appointment in the event of pre-booked driving tests, mechanical breakdown, sickness, pre-booked holidays or due to immovable traffic.
- If the instructor believes the customer to be under the influence of alcohol or other substance which may impair driving, the lesson will be immediately terminated and the customer will be liable for the full lesson fee. In such circumstances, the instructor reserves the right to refuse further lessons.
- Where tuition takes place in the customer’s own vehicle, insurance cover for minimum third party liability, for receiving of driver training and taking a driving test, must be confirmed with their insurance company prior to any lesson proceeding.
- The customer must produce their driving licence (provision, full or international) before being permitted to drive which will confirm they are licensed to drive the tuition vehicle. If their entitlement to drive changes, the instructor must be informed immediately.
- Before booking practical driving tests, a Driver Instructor reference number will be supplied to confirm the readiness of the student driver’s ability for test. Availability of the Driving School vehicle will also be necessary. Please therefore contact Select Drivers before booking practical tests. We reserve the right to refuse the use of our driving school car if we consider the candidate is not ready for test.
- Gift vouchers and block booking payments for tuition are valid for a period of six months from the date of purchase.
- If a customer is unable to start, or complete, their pre-paid driving lessons they must contact us to discuss the possibility of a short extension, which cannot be guaranteed. Should there be a genuine reason the customer is unable to start or complete tuition, consideration will be given to a refund of fees paid, subject to an administration fee. This is not guaranteed. Proof of genuine reasons will be required prior to any consideration.
